'Land Note' App is a 3 in 1 end user app, where benefiters will be land buyers, land owners and land mediators. It is a simple and powerful tool to create, save, edit, delete and mark land informations.

Land note has a user friendly interface and easy to use for all kinds of users. It is designed with a best user experience where the user can create notes of a land address, dimension, cost, current location, owner contact number, DTCP details & land facing details etc. More than that it helps to do land calculation easily in different units for the convenient of users.

How Land Note works

Add new note

• Click '+' to add new land note

• Enter land's length, breadth and rate, then press 'Calculate' to view total land value & size

• Enter other details such as area name, address, owner name, contact etc.

• Press 'Mark Current location' to save current location of land

• Press 'Save' to save all the land information

Land Note list

• All saved land notes will be in Land Note list

• 'Call' and 'Location' buttons are available on all land notes added

• Press 'Call' button to call the owner/mediator of land

• Press 'Location' button to view land location in Maps

View, Edit & Delete land info

• To view saved data, select the required land note from Land Note list

• 'View land info' shows the saved data

• Press 'Edit' to edit the information

• Press 'Mark location again' to update the land location

• Press 'Save' to save the changes done

• In Land Note list, swipe left to delete a land note

Click '+' to add new land note

This is the landing screen of Land Note App with the sentence "Click '+' to add new land note" and '+' button on top right corner.

Add land info

When '+' button is clicked a new view will be opened called 'Add land note'. This is the view where user can enter all the land details such as area name, address, length, breadth, rate, owner/mediator name, contact and DTCP details. Area name, length and breadth fields are mandatory. Only numeric values should be entered in the Length, breadth and land rate fields. User is allowed to enter any one units of land rate (Sq.Feet or Kuli or Cent) for calculation.

Calculate

Press 'Calculate' button will calculate the total land value and size based on input given.

Mark current location

Press 'Mark current location' button will get the current land location (Latitude and Longitude values using GPS) to save it.

Save

Press 'Save' button to save all your land information.

Land Note list

Saved land information will be displayed under the Land Note and it is the front view of app. All the saved notes will be populated here in row-wise thus we call it as "Land Note List". The saved notes highlights the land information(land size, total value) for a easy view. It has two buttons, Call button and Location button.

View land info

Click on any saved notes from the 'Land Note list', opens a view called "View land info" to see all the saved details.

Edit land info

In 'view land info', if 'Edit' button is clicked all land details will become editable thus user can edit all the details. User can update length, breadth, rate values and click 'Calculate' to find new total value and size of land. Even if user wants to update land location, user needs to click 'mark location again' thats it. After changes done click 'Save' button to save all the details (or) 'Cancel' button to dismiss edit view and all the previous details will be restored.

Delete land note

To delete a land note, Go to Land Note list view and simply swipe left !

Land Note - buttons

There are two buttons on all the land notes added.

• Call button

• Location button

Call button

When 'Call' button is pressed, a small popup will show at bottom of the screen. The pop up shows the saved contact details of the land owner/mediator. Click on the small popup, to do a phone call or click cancel to dismiss.

Location button

When 'Location' button is pressed, an alert will be shown 'Proceed to open in Maps?' press "Ok" to open the saved location of land . In Maps, it will be displyed as 'Unknown location' until the user saves it. Maps has an options to share the location, 'Add to favourites' and 'Guides'.

Importance of Alerts

Alerts are very important for an App. Wrong input leads to invalid or no output. Thus, 'Alerts' helps to avoid any errors and indicates user to enter correct value for the calculation. Meantime Alerts helps to let user know if process is being in the app background.

User must know about alerts used in app

1. Unable to call; Please check contact

This alert will be triggered when owner/mediator contact is not added (or) alphabets/special characters used in contact for the respective land note. To add/edit contact, go to 'view land info' > Edit > Add/edit contact > Save

2. Land location not marked

This alert will be triggered when land location is not marked for respective land note. To mark location again (User must be at the land location) go to view land info > Edit > Mark location again > Save.

3. Proceed to open in Maps?

This alert will be triggered when 'Location' button is pressed. This alert needs permission from user to open corresponding land location in Maps. If 'Cancel' button is clicked alert will be dismissed.

4. Please check values

This alert will be triggered when length and breadth value is not in numeric values.

5. Please enter one rate

This alert will be triggered when more than one rate units are entered. User should enter any one of rate units such as Sq.Feet (or) Cent (or) Kuli rate to calculate total land value and size.

6. Please try again

This alert will be triggered when current location is being saved (saving in progress) or Location services is set to 'not allowed for Land Note'. Most of the cases location will be marked when user try again. To check location services, go to settings > Privacy > Location services > Land Note > select 'Allow while using App' then try marking land location will works.
